    Pros +

    • Great location, lots of nearby street parking, nice staff, easy check-in/ check-out process. Big room lots of space for luggage. Very very inexpensive.
    • Overall the motel looked clean. The room was clean. The convenience store was very handy.
    • Good shower and large enough space.

    Cons -

    • Smelled so heavily like perfume. Felt like they tried to cover up other smells by spraying axe body spray. It was hard to breathe in the hallway. The rooms were very dirty. Clean linen but you could see all the dirt under the bed and the shower had mold in it, the mirror above the sink was splattered with stains and not cleaned, the walls were stained.
    • Upon arrival you were informed that you would receive 2 towels and a bottle of water per day, that was fine. They also said that they clean the room in 3 days, you had to take the trash and towels out and place it near the door, which was fine EXCEPT THEY STILL ENTERED THE ROOM EVERYDAY AND MOVED THINGS. You get to the room and find out the towels are the size of hand towels. There is a jug in the room and a couple of paper cups. Beds were very hard and the smallest double bed I have seen. The bathroom was very tight, positioning of the toilet meant to sit on it your knees were hitting up against the door, you also could not get dressed in there after a shower as there was no room.We did try a very overpriced breakfast once, the only thing there that was an American style food choice was egg (and a pan for you to fry it), bread, communal jam and bun. There was a toaster, but there was no butter. The kitchen person and front desk was absolutely astonished that I had asked for butter, I was told they don't have any, they did not even know what it was. There were no cutlery only chopsticks. There was no tea or sugar, only a coffee maker, that had no water in it. Staff were very indifferent to this. Worst breakfast we have ever encountered. Front desk staff spoke only on arrival and departure, other than when asked about butter.
    • The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Terrible parking, there were only 10 available spots for the whole hotel.

Excellent for the price - beautiful windows and views. Clean rooms and new towels and water each day. Staff was also accommodating of room change requests. We stayed here twice.

Don't stay on floor 6 if a bit weird smell bothers you.

Location is very close to Jeju World Cup Stadium which has good connectivity to buses. The entire street has a path of cherry blossoms trees. Room is decent size for a couple. For vegetarians, limited options around, Subway and an Italian place nearby including a convenience store. There's a 24*7 self laundry shop too! Carry your dental kits, room is well-ventilated. Staff is very helpful.

The air-conditioning is centralized, at night it gets warm sometimes...else everything is fine.

    7JasonPosted on: 4-7-2025

Fairly spacious rooms for the price. Close to the stadium, bus terminal, and food options. Good service from the staff.

There was a fairly strong smell in the room of air freshener covering up "old building" scent. The bed was very springy, but was ok once settled.

the breakfast was at the next hotel: the vistacay world cup hotel. it was really good.

the bathroom has no threshold. so any water splashing will overflow. the ac/heater didn't work properly. no room cleaning even if you hang the clean room card outside. the refrigerator is tiny. the bed was horrible, springy and not at all comfortable.. the location is horrible. the nearest bus stop is a 10 min walk up/downhill. the entre window has a view of another hotel's side wall.

The staff are approachable and always ready to help. They were able to allocate my room away from the elevator and higher floor which were my requests prior to my arrival. Lobby smells soooo good!

although it’s a bit close to restaurants and other things, the area has some uphill and downhill which makes it inconvenient for me. Early check in rate per hour is a bit pricey

The property was easy to find and close to a lot of places. Bus stops, shops, restaurants. It was a nice neighbourhood, very quiet and calm.

The room was a little too small to more around and lacked any place to sit besides the beds.

    9ThaoPosted on: 7-24-2024

Sweet and friendly staff at Tamara Jeju! The room was clean and the facilities were all working as they should. The toilet was a japanese style toilet with bidet and heated seat. We had a view overlooking some islands of Jeju, and got fresh towels every day of our stay. Bonus for the free room upgrade :))

The beds were a little springy for our liking, but to each their own!

    * spacious room* everything available: towels, soap, shampoo,...* value for money* good shower and other facilities

    * the hallway of the eighth floor was super dirty: stains everywhere on the carpet ( - I think it can't be cleaned anymore, but needs to be replaced completely)* there was a horrible smell in the hallway of the eighth floor* the walls could use a freshening up ( - in stark contrast to the facilities that had been completely renovated)

    10GracePosted on: 7-9-2024

Amazing service and super clean. They have a buffet downstairs for breakfast and dinner, as well as a convenient store. A microwave was on every level. Staff were so lovley

    10JessPosted on: 7-1-2024

The hotel is conveniently located with a GS25 right across the road as well as their own little convenience store right downstairs near the lobby. They also offer breakfast and dinner at an additional cost of 12,000₩ and 11,000₩. There are also two bus stops near the hotel (a 7min walk or a 4min walk depending on the bus you need to get). Loads of little restaurants nearby as well. The room itself was amazing, a lovely modern feel and it was super clean. The hotel and cleaning staff were amazing and so helpful. They also offered us early check in for 10,000₩ which we were more than happy to pay to get out of the horrible weather the day we were checking in.

The only con to this place is that it is ever so slightly up hill.

    9NooraPosted on: 6-24-2024

We were provided big towels without asking! The staff was very friendly, location overall very good and the bed was comfy.

    Location and front desk advice

No view at all, and parking was too small. Had to park outside the building about 3 blocks away

    1YaxsandraPosted on: 5-28-2024

Little store downstairs and across the street.

There was mold in the rooms, walls were dirty , carpets were dirty and stained in the hallways

    6WengPosted on: 5-16-2024

    Pleasant

Parking is not enough and need to park quite far away. The staff is less helpful.

    5The-VietPosted on: 5-10-2024

Too few parking lots, bed was too hard, bathroom too small and you have no privacy because of the window to the room. During our stay we only got big towels once. The rest of the days we got only two small towels.

    10WanPosted on: 4-19-2024

Loved the location - It's quite far from the city area, but nearby some food places and convenience store - pretty convenient that we didn't have to drive out for some quick and simple groceries. Not a long drive from Seogwipo if we need to go to the Olle market.

The parking is quite limited, sometimes you might need to plan to be back early in securing a more convenient spot

    7SaltyPosted on: 4-8-2024

the view and the facilities were good but the beds in the room were placed uncomfortably. Had to make some adjustments

Hotel didn't have toiletries, only shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. We had to buy our own
